Greetings in the name of the Risen and Reigning Lord, Jesus!
I have some important information to share with you.
One of our Elders extraordinaire, Giles Montgomery, informed us that a fellow coach has recently tested positive for COVID-19.
If you have been in worship at LB since we reopened, you will have noticed him masked and practicing social distancing. In addition, his exposure level with the other coach is not considered high.
Out of an abundance of caution, Giles will be self-quarantining along with the rest of the Sealy ISD athletic department.
He will return after his quarantine and testing negative for Covid-19.
Also, it has just come to our attention that Pastor Scott Heitshusen and his family may have been exposed to someone on Monday who is currently being tested. Results from that test will not be known until the early part of next week. (This would be, of course, after last Sunday’s worship and picnic.)
Pastor and his family will not be at worship Sunday out of an abundance of caution. Our very capable and wonderful, Brackston Nutt, will cover the message and Elders will take care of Holy Communion.
We at LifeBridge continue to take precautionary measures with our sanitizing and cleaning, distancing, and the like, making sure we are proving a safe environment for you and your family. We want people to join us in worship, but only as they feel safe and comfortable.
Of course, we ask that you practice the same precautions so as not to potentially expose others. If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or have any symptoms of sickness, please stay home and join us online for worship. We will miss you, yet we thank you for helping to keep others safe.
Please keep Giles, his family, and the Sealy ISD athletics department in your prayers – as well as the rest of our country and world during this difficult time.
Thank you, God bless, and have a great day, knowing the Lord is with you!
