CHRISTMAS EVE – “Good News of Great Joy for All the People”

December 23, 2024 /

Tonight is the culmination of our series, knowing the “His Gospel is Peace!” It all comes down to this. To HIM; born for us!

And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”

Luke 2:10-12

May the Lord bless your celebration of the birth of the Savior, Jesus, through Whom we have “Good News of Great Joy” and never need fear!

Christmas — Food, Fellowship, Worship!

Join us for Christmas at LifeBridge!

On Christmas Eve, we will enjoy food, fellowship, and worship!

At 4:00 PM in the café we will have food and fellowship, sharing the joy of Jesus!

We’ll then journey into the sanctuary at 5:00 PM to hear, experience, and partake in the worship of the Newborn King, Jesus; the Savior born for us!

We want you to know that you and your family are invited and welcome this Christmas Eve at LifeBridge. We don’t care what you look like, your religious background, or if you normally attend church. We just want to celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas with you!

We’re looking forward to having you with us!

Oh, and bring your family and friends, too!

Make a Child’s Christmas, a day to remember!

Here’s how:

  • Pick up an angel and make sure that one of the Angel Tree Elves writes down your name so we know which angel you are shopping for.
  • Next, have fun shopping for your little angel!
  • Have more fun wrapping your little angel’s gift! (Feel free to use a gift bag if wrapping isn’t your “gift!”)
  • Attach your angel tag to your wrapped gift.
  • Please return your angel’s gift by Sunday, December 1, or you will find yourself on Santa’s naughty list.

Tonight is the culmination of our series and our waiting! It all comes down to this. To HIM; born for us!

1In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. 2This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3And all went to be registered, each to his own town. 4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. 6And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. 7And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
