You Will Be Satisfied

For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it; you will not be pleased with a burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Psalm 51:16-17

Today is Ash Wednesday, when we are “marked by Christ, the Crucified” with an ash cross on our foreheads and remember that “we are dust, and to dust we shall return.“

It also marks the beginning of our Lenten journey.

We do all this in solemn reflection on our sins, His cross, and our forgiveness through faith in Him. But it’s important for us to know that we also do this in the same way He did His life and sacrifice – in LOVE!

GOD’S (SECRET?) AGENT — New Sermon Series

Starting on Sunday, September 1, 2019, we will begin a new sermon series: “GOD’S (SECRET?) AGENT: Caretakers, Entrusted by God.”

We will look at what “agents” are, what we are to care for, how we are to care for them, why, and for whom. We will look at what it means to be trusted – and the responsibility (and forgiveness!) that comes from it.

“Financial Peace University” by Dave Ramsey Coming to LifeBridge

August 20, 2019 /

LifeBridge will be offering “Financial Peace University” (i.e., “FPU”) at LifeBridge on Mondays, from 6:30-8:30 PM from September 16, through November 11.

FPU is a proven course to help pay off dept, build for the future, and become good stewards of what the Lord is entrusting to you. If you follow the course and are faithful to it, these will happen!

The cost is $109 through our special LB class link here (and the full class schedule is there, too), which will be more than made up for if you follow through the class and steps!
