Community Thanksgiving Worship Service

The Sealy Ministerial Alliance will be having their Community Worship Service on November 24, at 6:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

The Rev. Rhonda Fanning from St. John’s Episcopal Church will be delivering the message.

There will be a reception following.

A love offering will be taken up and all the proceeds go to the Sealy Ministerial Alliance to provide benevolence for the Sealy Community.

We hope to see you there!

Help Feed People for Thanksgiving!

The Sealy Christian Pantry is preparing for Thanksgiving and will be giving each family a Thanksgiving Holiday Box!

Give in the jar at church or directly through Venmo.

Food insecurity is a terrible thing and we know that people in our community are struggling. The Pantry is currently serving approximately 800-900 families monthly.

A donation jar will be at the back of the church through November. Anything and everything is appreciated!

Your financial support will be used to offset the purchase of turkeys, canned yams, cranberry, cornbread mix, etc.

The target cost is $8,500, which will feed around 400-450 families.

Thank you for helping those less fortunate enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday by sharing your blessings with others!

God bless!

Typically, we have asked for the local churches to help with canned goods for the boxes, but due to the increase in clients and supply chain issues at grocery stores, this year we are asking for financial support to help defray the costs of the goods in the boxes.

We have ordered canned yams and cranberry from Walmart and have also ordered turkeys and hams (which cost around $7,500).

If you would like to help, a donation jar will be at the back of the church through the holiday season. Anything and everything is appreciated!

Food insecurity is a terrible thing and we know that people in our community are struggling as we are now serving over 300 families weekly.

If you are blessed to be a blessing, we would greatly appreciate your support.

Thank you and God bless!

Thanksgiving

We don’t have a Thanksgiving service, so today, the Sunday before, we will take time to thank God for all His blessings toward us!

Why was this foreigner the only one who came back to thank God?

Canned Food Drive for Thanksgiving!

As the Sealy Christian Food Pantry prepares for their Thanksgiving distribution, they are are asking all local churches that support the Pantry to collect canned yams/sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce.

These are items that are seasonal and are not provided by the Houston Food Bank, so your help is needed!

Please bring your cans an deposit them in the containers at the back of the sanctuary with the signs.

We thank you for your help in making a great Thanksgiving for others!
